Covered Safety Surfaces did an outstanding job on the rubber decking around my poo. From start to finish, they were patient with my timeline, professional, and a pleasure to work with. They even arranged for me to visit several of their previous installations, which gave me complete confidence in my decision. The installation crew was courteous, skilled, and took great pride in their work. The finished product looks absolutely fantastic, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I highly recommend Covered Safety Surfaces to anyone looking for a beautiful, high quality pool deck. Be sure to check out the before/after photos. Bye bye old FL cracked concrete, hot feet, burnt paws and slippery when wet surfaces.Posted on Google![]()

We recently had our pool deck and front porch resurfaced by this family-owned business, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the start, they were professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with. They took the time to explain the process, helped us choose the right finish, and showed real pride in their work. The transformation of our pool deck is amazing—it looks brand new and has completely refreshed our backyard. They showed up on time, kept everything clean, and finished the job when they said they would. It’s clear this is a company that truly cares about their customers and their reputation. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to resurface their pool deck—you won’t be disappointed!Posted on Google![]()

WOW! Covered Safety Surfacing is a great family owned and operated Brevard business. From initial estimate to competion and all the communication in between these folks are an absolute joy to work with. Once they start everyone knows their job and works together like a well-oiled machine. Attention to detail and great workmanship results in a finished product that is far superior to anything offered for your pool deck, lanai and porch. Don't waste time on stamped concrete, pavers or other coverings. Their FB page and website contain hundereds of examples of their work and the owners will provide samples of colors and really great advice for your particular situation. Thanks to the entire team for a job well done!! -Bob StonesiferPosted on Google![]()

This company is outstanding to work with! They are very passionate about their product and truly want the best for their customers. Susan and John were kind enough to come out to our house and help us decide on colors. They even arranged for us to visit three other installs that they had done so that we could see several completed jobs. Cody and team were right on time and were very professional. Can't say enough good things about this company,we absolutely love our new pool deck! Mitch and Robin WomackPosted on Google![]()

First off, Juan and his team did an outstanding job. I've attached before and after pictures for reference. Before we found Covered Safety Surfacing, we were looking at just doing the typical resurfacing which inspired nothing. I wasn't motivated to continue dealing with the rough textured concrete; it's just terrible. Your feet get roughed up, it's uncomfortable to lay on (I exercise on the lanai) because of the abrasive feel. At this point, my wife and I decided to explore options and we found Covered Safety Surfacing. My initial take was, "isn't that the playground stuff?" We asked them to come out for a quote and Juan explained everything in great detail and showed examples. We were sold and signed up that day. The process took two days; first day was prep work and second day was the actual resurfacing. The no foot traffic for 48 hours was torture, really wanted to get out and check it out, see how it felt. After the 48 hours, we got out there and I was pleasantly shocked at how nice it felt. It's not a hard surface, it has a slight give because it's rubber, making it comfortable to walk on. Already a win! Next check came when we got in and out of the pool, there was some concern that because it was rubber that it might be slick. Nope! I would like to say that it may seem pricey, but it turned out that it was only slightly more expensive than having the textured concrete redone. Here are five factors destroy any "it's pricey" argument: - The quality of the work and material. I sat and watched them perform work, all professionals. The team was courteous and respectful of our house and property. - How much better it looks compared to the textured concrete. Not even a competition on this one. - The fact that this is a thousand times better to walk on the textured concrete. - Watch the video attached of me dropping a glass from 5 feet to the surface. Watch it bounce harmlessly. Show me a video of someone dropping a glass from 5 feet onto concrete! - Lastly, longevity. Sticking with textured concrete, we would have continued to resurface periodically and would have ended up costing us a great deal more. However, I wouldn't take my word because I'm some random reviewer on Google. Talk to Juan and go see some of their work in your local area and get a first hand account.Posted on Google![]()

Understanding your needs first.
Evaluating the existing surface.
Expert installation of surfaces.

No need to start from scratch – we resurface your existing concrete, asphalt, or stone with premium rubber surfacing that’s safer, stronger, and better looking. You’ll save time and money while upgrading your space instantly.
Your project is handled by certified installers trained in top-tier systems like Combitile USA and Hoof Grip Equestrian Flooring. We bring professional precision and proven results to every surface we install.
From homes and playgrounds to gyms, splash pads, and commercial facilities — our surfacing solutions fit any environment. Whether you want to enhance safety or elevate curb appeal, we’ve got you covered.
Enjoy peace of mind knowing your new surface is designed to endure heavy use and harsh weather — all while staying beautiful with minimal upkeep. A quick rinse or light cleaning is all it takes to keep it looking new.
Our rubber surfacing provides a soft, slip-resistant, and shock-absorbing layer that reduces impact from falls — creating a safer environment for families, guests, and employees alike.
Choose from a variety of colors, blends, and patterns to match your style or brand. We can even integrate custom designs and logos to make your surface uniquely yours.
We typically recommend resealing your rubber surface every 3 to 5 years, depending on the amount of foot traffic, sun exposure, weather conditions, and overall use of the area. Resealing helps protect the surface, refresh its appearance, and extend the life of your investment. During your consultation, we can also provide maintenance recommendations based on your specific space, whether it’s a pool deck, patio, driveway, playground, or commercial area.
Rubber surfacing is designed to be more comfortable underfoot than many traditional surfaces. In fact, our rubber surfaces can be up to 20 degrees cooler than concrete or pavers, making them a great option for pool decks, patios, walkways, playgrounds, and outdoor areas exposed to the Florida sun. While any outdoor surface can warm up in direct sunlight, rubber surfacing provides a softer, more comfortable feel compared to hard concrete or pavers.
Cleaning your rubber surface is simple and low-maintenance. We recommend power washing the surface every 3 to 6 months, depending on how much use the area gets and how much dirt, leaves, or debris collects. For routine upkeep, you can also vacuum, sweep, hose it down, or lightly scrub problem areas when needed. This makes it easy to keep your surface looking clean, fresh, and well-maintained throughout the year.
Our rubber surfacing is durable and designed to handle everyday use from families, pets, and outdoor activity. Large dogs, cats, and regular pet traffic should not damage the surface under normal conditions. If a pet has an accident, simply hose the area down and clean it as needed. Like any surface, excessive digging or aggressive scratching in the same spot over time could cause wear, but normal pet use is not a concern.
If a section of your surface becomes damaged, it does not always mean the entire area needs to be replaced. In many cases, we can return to assess the issue and repair the affected area. This is one of the benefits of rubber surfacing — damage can often be addressed in a targeted way, helping you protect the look, safety, and lifespan of your surface without starting over from scratch.
